2019 CAATE Elections

The Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) is pleased to announce the following vacancies and seeks outstanding nominees for each of these elected positions. Self-nomination by qualified candidates is strongly encouraged:

One (1) Athletic Trainer Commissioner on the CAATE Commission with experience as a clinician. Must be a clinician with current or past affiliation with any (professional, post-professional degree, residency) CAATE accredited Athletic Training Program (or program seeking CAATE accreditation).Term begins at the Fall meeting of 2019. The elected person will begin attending meetings in a non-voting capacity until the Fall 2019 meeting. One (1) Athletic Trainer Commissioner on the CAATE Commission with experience as a clinician within a Post-Professional Residency Athletic Training Program. Applicant must be a clinician with a current or past affiliation with a CAATE accredited Post-Professional Residency Program (or program seeking CAATE accreditation). Term begins at the Fall meeting of 2019. The elected person will begin attending meetings in a non-voting capacity until the Fall 2019 meeting. Interested applicants should submit all required application documentation to Ashley Ahearn (ashley@caate.net) no later than close of business on February 11, 2019. The CAATE Nominating Committee will review all applications and forward a slate of two candidates for each position to the CAATE.
