The Annual Report (AR) for Professional Programs using e-Accreditation yielded a 99.5% on-time submission rate. The electronic AR was released in June. Program administrators submitted several data modules describing their programs. Student cohort, faculty, clinical site and preceptor modules and six sections of the Annual Report were due on October 15th. For the first time, programs are able to see their graduate’s first time and overall pass rates on the Board of Certification examination by cohort. A summary is table generated within e-Accreditation with this data. Program administrators can post this table on the outcomes page of their website.
There were a few technological "hiccups" along the way including some internet time-outs and slow refresh times due to the tremendous traffic during the last few days before the deadline, but overall the feedback received from program administrators was positive. We appreciate the Program Directors' patience as we worked through these issues.
Over the course of the next several months, the Annual Report Committee (ARC) will be reviewing the reports. The ARC will bring program reports to the Commission at the February 21-22, 2014 meeting for action. In addition to the ARC reviewing the individual reports for compliance, the CAATE office staff will be creating aggregate reports across all programs to produce demographic data about our AT programs.
The Annual Report for Post-Professional Programs will be completed outside of e-Accreditation this year (2013), with plans to implement the e-Accreditation system for all reports in 2014.
