If you're considering an education and career in athletic training, check out the resources below for more information on how to get started. In addition to learning more about a career in athletic training, the ATCAS common application system is a way to easily apply for multiple athletic training programs using a single application.
Find the Right Program
The CAATE has a directory of all accredited programs with detailed information on student outcomes including the BOC certification examination, program retention rate, and graduate placement rate.
Fee Waiver Assistance Program
The CAATE first introduced income-based fee waivers with the 2020-2021 application cycle and continues its commitment to this program. The fee waiver program has been implemented to reduce the financial burden of the application process for selected individuals, which has been shown to encourage applications from those who may find the initial application process to be financially challenging.
National Athletic Trainers Association
The National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA) offers resources for students, including education and career pathway information. Check out their prospective student page by clicking their logo below. The organization also offers athletic trainers valuable benefits in professional development, advocacy, connection and support. That includes free CE credits, resources like the Salary Survey and the NATA Career Center — the best place to find athletic training jobs.
