DEI Infographics

The CAATE Education Committee has created helpful resources for Athletic Training Educators regarding some of the CAATE Standards that address topics of Advocating for Health Needs (Standard 56), Health Literacy and Social Determinants of Health (Standard 57), Effective Communication for Clinicians (Standard 59), Programmatic Integration of DEIA (Standard DEI 1), and Cultural Awareness (Standard DEI 2). Three infographics deliver summaries of the above topics to help AT programs construct an approach for integration.

Through the planning process, the Committee recruited volunteers and casted them into roles based on personal interest and availability. We were intentional in not playing into stereotypes of the profession and/or of certain demographics.
