Immersive Clinical Education Round Tables

Join the CAATE’s discussion on immersive clinical education experiences. The CAATE recognizes a need for refinement of the clinical immersion experience. During this round table discussion, attendees will consider programmatic goals, outcomes, and assessments tied to clinical immersion experiences. This webinar will cover Standard 16: Immersive Clinical Experiences. We will also consider connections to Standard 2: Framework and Standard 6: First Time BOC Pass Rate.

This discussion is intended for coordinators of clinical education and/or those involved in the planning and delivery of clinical immersion experiences.

What will the round table cover?
The development process for clinical immersion goals, outcomes, and assessments within your program. 

Preceptor training and development for clinical immersion.

Recognize the need for ongoing reflection and refinement of the clinical immersion experience.

Attendees will work in small groups with facilitators. Group size in each room will be capped to ensure meaningful discussion room.

Simulation Workshop

The CAATE is hosting complimentary simultaneous workshops on simulation for programs looking to advance their simulation curriculum. This new, interactive workshop will help you work towards educational quality improvement of the simulation curriculum. Space is limited, so register early to participate.
