Analytic Progress Report and Action Plan

A program’s three-year aggregate first-time pass rate on the BOC examination is calculated by taking the ‘total number of students who passed the examination on the first attempt’ divided by the ‘total number of students graduating from the program who took the examination’ for the most recent three test cycle years. If a program has a year(s) with no students graduating from the program and/or no students who attempted the exam, the year(s) will still be used for the purposes of calculating the program’s three-year aggregate first-time pass rate.

Voluntary Withdrawal of Accreditation

Programs that wish to voluntarily withdraw their accreditation are required to follow the process outlined in the Policy and Procedures manual. The section on voluntary withdrawal has been copied below:

Annual Report

All accredited Professional, Post-Professional Degree, and Residency Programs must submit their annual report by October 1 each year through e-Accreditation including programs who are completing self-studies or have site visits this year. Annual reports open annually on, however programs should update the student, faculty, preceptor, and clinical site profiles at any time there are changes. Additionally, all student cohorts must be updated prior to the annual report submission. All questions can be directed to the CAATE office at support@caate.net.

Deadline for Analytic PR and Action Plan from Annual Report Analytic Progress Reports and Action Plans are required for all professional programs who do not have a minimum three-year aggregate first-time BOC examination pass rate of 70% or higher. The submission deadline Analytic Progress Reports and Action Plans is June 1. These documents are submitted via the Annual Report tab in eAccreditation.

Annual Report Instructions

The annual report has been modified this year to include questions involving Standards 30, 57, DEI 1 and DEI 2. Annual Reports that are submitted late (10 days past due) will be charged a late submission fee of $500. ATCAS

Information for Professional Programs

ATCAS continues to add accredited programs to its’ Centralized Application Service. There is currently 89% participation by all eligible professional programs. ATCAS is a free service to athletic training programs that offers programs and admissions offices unparalleled reporting capabilities and real-time metrics that help facilitate better admissions decisions and dramatically improve the effectiveness of their application and enrollment process. Schools can analyze their applicant pool, better understand their applicant pipeline, forecast and benchmark from cycle to cycle or compare an individual program to specified or national cohorts. Integrated administrative services reduce the costly burdens of administrative work and create a paperless process that offloads redundant tasks like opening mail, verifying prerequisites, calculating GPAs, and authenticating transcripts. These unique services allow admissions staff of athletic training programs to focus on strategic enrollment initiatives and higher-level interactions with applicants.
